I think the Indonesia part should raise a red flag. I saw it on ebay a couple aweeks ago, that must be where the pic was from.

Remember, shipping and duty needs to be paid to get it here. Thats could be thousands. Then you have to hope it makes it here after you pay!!!

and i guess inspecting the car before purchase is out of the question also . does that site get alot of scammers ?

I have my car on there and you have to pay the 19.95 upfront, but that doesnt mean they didnt steak a Credit card number

I run the site where this car is posted. I am always on the look out for scammers and this one does seem to fit the bill but I am not quite sure because of the location of car. I tried calling the phone # but get no answer.

I try my very best to keep scammers off site. I monitor all activity very closely but once in a while one will get by. The scammers will use a stolen credit card number to pay for ad but it takes a while for me to be notified when the original card owners request a charge back. I have a page with scam info on site http://usedcorvettesforsale.com/fraud.shtml and all registered members are sent a warning in e-mail. I appreciate the effort that forum members make to let me know when they spot something suspicious.

If anyone finds out anything more about this ad please let me know.
