Hi-Anyone out there have any experience with corvette america interior dye (66 saddle). I re-sprayed my shifter console and dash center and the more I look at it I think it's a few shades light. Any better product to use to get a closer match ? Thanks in advance-TPIC
I haven't used saddle, but when I did mine in red, I had to apply about four or five light coats before it started to look good. I'm going to put on one more coat before I put my cluster, clock and radio back in.

Good luck on this one. I tried with my 66 saddle when I first rebuilt the car. Had to spray a headliner. Not even close to real color. This last summer I had to re-color my shifter console. I went to a paint shop locally. I took in my side panel cover to let them compare what they could brew up to what was original on the side cover, under the antenna switch. They came close but no cigar. Let me know if you find anyone that has a decent match. I still have to do another headliner, eyebrows, and other interior stuff. Would like to get close if I can, instead of having 16 different shades thoughout the car, if I can find one close then all the stuff will kind of match.
Call or e-mail Matt and see if he will ship you a can. I have been to his business several times and he has all the Corvette color formulas and mixes the paint in his lab. Many of us Corvette guys around here have used his products with great success. Nice people to do business with.
