Had someone tell me they had a 65 small block convertible. Wants 25k for it. Said it ran good when they garaged it 10 years ago. I took pics but don't know how to post. Anyone wish to help?
ok,
1) take a digital picture(s) of car
2) download them to your PC
3) photobucket.com , open a free account
4) upload them to your account,
5) then you copy the pics address to your post here for viewing
i would tell you to email them to me, but i am at work right now
Cool Adventure.... might be more than 10 years of sitting.. I think I'd factor in a completely new interior into my offer..there are cosmetic and
unknown mechanical issues here..Cool project if you can negotiate a price.

There was soo much wrong with the car. He said he had the right hood for it but again, another incorrect hood with hood pins in it. The softtop fram was rusty and it sat so low in the wet rocks, I couldn't get underneath to check the frame. After a complete resto there would be way too much $$ in this car. He is firm on the 25K.
I guess it would depend on how much you can save by doing most of the work, but my guess is you could be upside down in the car when its finished. Then again lots of us are.
I'm thinking 25K is a little steep for that car. It has wrong front end, 66 seats and has a lot of issues that will cast a ton. Make sure you check out the frame it is probable shot. I would bring cash and start about $13K. C notes talk !!
Two years ago i paid $29K for a numbers match original 65 396 car and have maybe $35k in it and I still think I paid to much Good Luck !
