Default AIM in Adobe format?

Has anyone scanned the AIM into Adobe or know were it can be found on the net? It seems a lot of times if I could look up the information on my laptop and post it here. Also for what ever reason I can't figure out how to convert an Adobe (pdf) to a Pic (jpg). Can anyone post how to convert it? Thanks.. Dave

I kinda think sales of the AIM would suffer just a bit if it was freely available on the net.

Although it would be nice to have it on my 'puter.

Jack,

I'm going to take it to work tomorrow and scan it all in. I will probably break it into sections so that it is easier to manage. I'll send you a copy

Do you know how to convert the pdf to jpg so I can post pages here on the forum? It seems a lot of confusion can sometime be avoided by simply posting information from the AIM. Dave

You can convert pdf to another format by using the camera icon to copy what you want and then pasting it into excel or word docs or whatever... I have done this to make PowerPoints for speeches and lectures...

I suspect the CD version sold on Ebay are versions someone has scanned and put up for sale. Legal... no.

Now to scan your own into PDF or JPG would take a long time on a home scanner. You need a digital sender or similar to be able to hit scan and walk away. Let the machine handle the full duplex scanning for you. If I had one in my office I would do it for you!

Good luck,
Al

you need acrobat (full version) and not acrobat reader. I would change the files from jpeg to a EPSF (ecapsulated postscript file format) then drop it into acrobat distiiler using distiller in and out folder. Now, what would be cool is to take the files and build a PDF booklet where you can search through an index and such.

Dave

i can easily convert a PDF file into a JPG for you.
On my Mac's here at home there is a standard program included on all Mac's called Preview which is the default viewer for various file types including PDF and most picture image formats.
I can easily open your PDF in Preview than use the "Save As" command to save a copy as a JPG. 3 clicks and it's done........
