Date Code on Steel wheels
Can someone help me locate the date code on my steel wheels? They are pretty dirty on the back side and I know it's there some where, but is it on the outter lip or close to the center piece? And, is there anything else I can look for to help identify these are originals? Welded vs. riveted etc. They do have the nibs next to the valve stem holes.

Yep, I think that's where it is. I went out and did a search and also called the repair guy I use (He's about 98 and still working) and it appears that the date stamp is on the inner part of the wheel.
