Default 68 casting #

Help-
I've got a 68 vette with a clean pad. casting # 3914660
where the date should be is convt or convi (not sure)
the car is a very early build-10/67. Certain reference books say this is correct for an early 68, others do not mention this #. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks-Tpic

That block matches up to a 327 300HP used in 68. Was used in the Corvette but you'll want to take other numbers off such as the date code and engine suffix to confirm.

Just in case your not aware, the 68 would be a C3 car in case you want to read, ask, contribute to similar C3 cars. That forum gets a lot of action and good information just like this C1 & C2 section.
