Steering wheel repairs
Bad weather has given me time to tackle a few jobs I have been meaning to do. I ground out the cracks and then filled them in with POR putty. I kept the putty moist with regular water as I massaged it into the holes. I let it dry for a day and a half. I have not finished, because I am looking for a paint to match the simulated wood wheel. The 1963 textured wheel will be primed with a textured paint and painted today. More photos to come.

I followed these instructions and bought the paint. Wonderful results, you just have to play with the paint mix a little to get a good match.
