Get her a certificate for a full body massage! Man, my wife always complains when I take up too much space in the garage, let alone help me clean parts.

she is the same one that feels the size of the garage is more important than the size of the kitchen!!! Yup, I know I got a good one!!! She is the BEST!!!!! She was garage deprived as a kid (her dad had a race car in there all the time), so she wants to make sure that we have enough garage space.....
Herb, Get the girl a resporator you tightwad!..
Serously, more of that dust gets out than you think. Last time I rode the blaster for a while I coughed for two days. God bless her!
Earl, there is a vacuum on that cabinet that would suck the chrome off a bumper...in fact the gloves go straight out when it is on and you just push your hands in the gloves....neither one of us hacks up a lung or for that matter starts coughing.....also, glass beads.....although I was trying to sort out a problem with it and had my head near the chamber...duh....needless to say, glass beads in the eyes means you somehow have to find the garage sink to wash them out....oh boy wasnt that fun.....
Herb
I share your feelings!
One of the times last year when I was bead blasting all the parts of the engine bay from the '78 Linda jumped in and did a bunch of them. She actually enjoyed it.
Bead blasting is great - the instant results are gratifiying
What's better than a wife that not only supports our hobby and interets but also jumps in to help!

agreed.....what did your friend use as an air dryer to keep moisture out of the lines? I am struggling with that....could use some help there.......
Painted the 58 Yesterday in the garage after spending 2 days taping, and papering her up and making a spray booth. The first thing my girl says to me is if your spraying in the garage I'm going out, I not going to smell the fumes.I said have a nice day. When she came back a few hours later I was still no further along. The paint heater which I run my air lines through, wasn't letting pressure out I guess one of the solenoids went,so I hooked up a direct line to the compressor, with 3 water seperators on it. Halfway through spraying the paint on my compressor --it the bed, Thank god I have a back up one, Started using that, now this one is only 110 volts so my lights in the garage and everything else is on the same circuit, kept blowing the breaker, finally went to a different line, and after all said and done car was painted base coat clear coat. Came out absolutly beauitful. Now to sand, buff and put it back together..
i don't know, I'd need to ask him. It was at ChuckG's house and I know he had something hooked up for moisture but not sure what.
I've got a little dryer bolted to the cabinet. It's one of those cheapo "Taiwan Tool" models that you see for a few $$$ at flea markets. It's about 10 inches long.....4 inches in diameter.
Has a drain petcock on the bottom. Loosen the petcock...out comes the water. Chuck
