My brakes always feel low (non power brakes).
I checked and the pads are like new.
I thought I'd try bleeding them thinking maybe there is air in the lines ??
The old pump method took forever and still never got them very good.
Which Motive Power bleeder model number do I get for a 65 Vette.
Note: it has a dual reservoir not a single like a 65
What are your experiences with it? Good / Bad
Thanks, Mark

You need the one with the #1105 adapter; best tool I've bought in years - lets one person bleed Corvette disc brakes to a hard, high pedal in ten minutes. A 6" C-clamp and a piece of tubing or a block of wood works much better to hold the adapter on than the chains and wingnuts that come with it.

I agree. Based on this forum I finally bought with adapters to handle my Vettes and 1st Gen Camaros and it works great.
Not to hijack the thread but does motive or anyone else make an adatper that fits the single round cylinder of the 65 with manual brakes?
Got a part number I can't seem to find one for that application.
I guess I could buy and cut a cylinder lid but would rather not....

They carry the Motive Products Power Bleeder, with adapter 1101 and 1105 which covers both dual and single master cylinders. I bought mine at a very competitive price several months ago and their service was great. Check out their website and you'll find what you need.

I bought a two quart pump sprayer at Menards, $7,97, $.98 worth of 1/4" clear tubing, and made the reservoir plate out of 1/2" aluminum, tapped for a barbed hose fitting, and installed a 0-60psi gauge I had laying around. Pump er up to 15lbs and bleed away.
