Installing a new headliner - techniques and sequence?
Using Al Knoch part.
What's the best way to install?
I'm thinking:
1. halo panel 1st
2. front trim (that holds the mirror)
3. now the headliner will be supported
4. move into final postion and then install those pesky side pieces
Any other suggestions?

Sounds about right. Be careful not to distort the clips or the Headliner panel. Leave everything loose until all alignment issues are addressed. You can put an insulator material in first if you desire. Good idea on an A/C car. Al W.

I paid a car trim shop $150 to put the headliner in my 66 Mustang.. It was money well spent as it looks perfect and I didn't have to take out the front and rear glass myself.... It is not a lot to pay for something that is so noticeable if it is wrong..
