Tom makes a Bigblock style radiator in aluminum that will fit in the mounts on a smallblock rad support. He made me one for my LS2 powered C2. I got it with dual electric fans, so it should be way more cooling than I will ever need! It is a side-tank radiator, but the tanks are outside of the openning in the support, so you do not give away any cooling space.
John are you running air. I spoke to Tom about the problem I was having with overheating, and he informed me about the radiator you write about. He tells me because of the fans your shroud will have to go.
Have you looked into the seals I found out about, see my post re overheating 327.

need to ask you a question about fitment if i want to use a BB rad in place of a SB rad. jack
I think we settled this already but it is a very common request. I thought I would reply because some people actually do this conversion first and then call me to discuss it.
The truth is, converting a midyear SB to a 66-67 BB radiator is an expensive downgrade. That right! The small block aluminum radiator has more btu capacity than the copper/brass BB unit. I have had people convert the core support, radiator, fan, and fan shroud, only to find out it ran the same or worse.
