Please help. lets see If I can explain my delema. I had taken apart my steering column over 1 1/2 years ago and my question is specific to the directional housing. I never removed the spring inside the housing but when I reassembled the housing and put the turn signal lever back in to make sure it worked OK I found that it only moves up (right turn) and down (left turn) but there is no neutral or middle position. Is this correct and if so how does that work without a center position?
