I have some slight scratches on my vent window chrome. I could just leave it alone but i thought maybe some fine sanding, say with 2000 grit color sand paper and some buffing, I could possibly get the scratches out. Anybody ever done such a task? Think it's worth a try? Any input is always appreciated. Regards, Marv
I'm not an expert but everytime I've seen someone mess with chrome they only make it worse. Working out scratches on alum. or stainless can be done but replating is the only fix for chrome.
