Default Slightly OT - Engine info

A week or so back, there was a discussion on 333882 heads. I made the statement that I had an original 74 Z-28 engine with these heads that came from the factory with 2.02 intake valves and they obviously were made prior to the 1975 date that most publications state as the start of the factory "lightened" castings. Most pubs put the 333882 castings in that category, but I have to disagree (as I have stated previously).

Here is a link to the previous discussion:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ghlight=333882

So here are the pictures to complete that statement (although you will have to take my word that the valves are 2.02's, but I have "seen" them!).

The date reads K 14 3 (I read that as Oct. 1973)

The last three digits are "CLK". The block date (not shown) is L 5 3), and is a 4 bolt main 010 block.

Intake date reads C 4 4 (I read that as March 1974).

All comments are welcome.
