Great weather Friday in NH and MA. Drove mine to work -- 100 mile round trip. Made the workday go better!

Keith,
Good video; didn't know if I enjoyed listening to the car or music better; can't beat listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chris Cornell (AudioSlave) while driving the Vette (two of my five favorite bands (Pearl Jam, Metallica, and U2))
I have to admit, I wasn't sure she was starting back up in the parking garage; you gave a sigh of relief as well.
Good story about you and your father. My roadster is bridging a gap between my Dad and I. Its funny what he remembers from cars yet he screws my name up all the time. This was their generation.
P.S. Make sure you do full level 0's and not just incrementals.

Jim:
Thanks. It's funny about the music because sometimes I don't realize its on or whats playing.
My car almost always starts right up when she's cold, but on a hot day when she's been running and then parked (I was only parked for about 20 minutes) she sometimes needs some coaxing. That sigh was the fact that I was very hot (92 degrees out I think) and couldn't wait to get on the road to cool down.

My 56 is a car, not a boat! But I guess I could drive this to work!

I drove to work Friday in my '63 vert.
Saw no other Vettes of any kind the whole day.
Got at least five- thumbs up great car, and one pretty 38 year old who wanted me to take a picture of her in the car with her cell phone camera, which I naturally obliged. (sorry, her camera I didnt get a picture)
It rained while I was parked with the top up. Thank goodness. I understand Dallas and Austin got it alot worse again on Friday.
A little warm for driving in rush hour comming home with that big heater in front, but it was a lot of fun especially when the traffic was a little lighter.

Didn't get to drive Friday because it rained here in Seattle (go figure), but I did on Sat. as it was a beautiful day. On the way home I received a call on my cell phone, so like we should all do, I pulled over to talk. While I was sitting there, a car with a young family pulled over and took my picture.
I'm not sure if it was me or my car that got their attention, but it was a nice little birthday gift anyway.

Every day is a drive the vette to work day for me! I've put on 4000 miles in the last 5 weeks. Dave
