I'm going to be bringing home my 65 Coupe with 96 suspension next weekend. The UHaul trailer has straps that go over the front tire, I used to use a chain in the back, but now have a powder coated chassis now. I bought some ratchet straps type hold downs, looking for advice on where to connect them in the back. Bought axle straps with protective sleeve as well. I'm thinking around the differential support it is aluminum and hooked to the chassis. Any advice ? Tim
Check out this thread on Trailering a C2. Your best bet is to go to Northern Tool and order 4 of these tow hooks. This is what they used from the factory.

Roy, the new chassis from Street Shop does not have the factory holes that use these hooks, already checked with Tray. I think I can use the aluminum differential support member (from C4) or through the wheels and tires. Thanks. Tim
you could also go through the wheels if you have room and some towels to protect the wheels.....
the wheel nets that they use on the front are the best way to go....just a matter of strapping down that rear end. not sure sine I have wheel nets for my trailer now...

Nice project and trailer ! If I had a trailer your set up I think is the best to hold it by nets over the wheels. Good Luck with your project , looks like it is returning from the body/paint shop. Thanks Tim
Macs Custom Tie Down.....they sell the nets and the track.....if you want a size to fit your tires, they will custom make the nets for your tire size....
