Default DeWitt Radiator

From time to time we hear negative stories about Suppliers. I want to tell you a positive story about DeWitt Radiator. Car also has Vintage Air. Over a year ago I purchased their Big Block Radiator package with dual electric fans to go on my 67 vette with a 572. Car was a frame off and due to winter I could not try it out until April. I live in Canada eh.

When I did get it outside we noticed that the fan controller to control both fans like new cars did not work properly. After trying everything possible I got DeWitts to send a new controller and we hooked it up and everything worked fine.

I contacted Tom DeWitt and even though my purchase was more than a year old he gave me a credit for the original controller (Spal) and told me not to even bother sending in the old one. Now that's trust and the kind of company I like dealing with.

The best part is that my rad works great and holds around 180 even with the 572 and air on.

There are a few honorable people in our hobby. Tom Dewitt is one of them along with John Pirkle and Steve Hack of Eastern Corvettes.

I judged with Steve last week at Bloomington (and in 2006) - terrific guy!

Not the first time we have heard a good story regarding Dewitt Radiators. Your car sounds quite nasty with the 572.

I'll ad my $.02 worth here about Tom.

I too have the BB Rad set up with the two Spal fans From DeWitts. I don't use the Spal "PWM" fan controller but just a temp sensor in the left Cyl head of my 502.

I had a problem with the sender about 4 months down the road and Tom replaced it No Charge. It's not the fact that he replaced the sensor ..but that I was treated as a customer should be.

Tom was quick to respond and shipped out the item the next day. Anyone can right a big order for a $1000.00 radiator...but the trick is to service that same customer for a $30.00 part and do it with class.

That's what you have here... A Vendor with Class when you deal with DeWitts..

A job Well Done.. Thanks Tom...
