I had MSI install my side exhaust due to time constraints plus the fact I didn't want to hack fiberglass. Was quoted about 4 hours labor initially and the actual cost was less considering they drained the coolant, and replaced the fan clutch. Car seems to hold steady at 190-200 degrees now even in 90 degree weather.
Other cover still has to be done.. as soon as I receive a decent quality cover that is. Overall, Jeff at MSI did a great job installing it. Props tp MSI.. will definately use them again.
Looks good with all the other work that you did I'm surprised to hear you paid some one to do work on your car. The side pipes look Great on that Red car but what is going on with the rusted brake calipers?? Sorry I couldn't help it you've got those nice rims and then you see the calipers.. What gives? Dave

I been working 7 days a week the last month, and no end in sight.. plus I wanted to test MSI waters to see how they do.
Yea I know the calipers are . Actually the entire area behind the wheel is . I been itching to pull the wheels off and powdercoat the hell out of everything, but have yet to get to it. I plan on doing the body off come fall/winter and was thinking of doing everything then as well. But yes, it looks like ***.. thanks for noticing.
Just take a wire brush to the outside of the caliper or some 3m Scotch Brite and Spray Paint them after cleaning with some spray brake cleaner. To powder coat them you will have to take everything apart and then worry about rebleeding and everything else.

I read that semigloss black is the correct color for the calipers, but I see alot of people with the natural look like mine.
2 rotors really need replacing anyways. I have seen some on ebay, but wonder how they really look and hold up.

I replaced all my original rotors last year with Raybestos USA made rotors on my 67'. The original rotors that were still on the car were very thin and corroded at the edges from being on the car for 39 years. I just didn't like the way they looked. They looked unsafe. I am still holding on to them right now and may keep them to go with the car if at some point in time I ever decide to sell.
