Wadded up? Kindly elucidate. Never heard the term.
Rowley corvette has aftermarket frames starting at @ 3900.00 in steel they also have them is stainless for more . they are not exactly like the originals as they say " not for the purist" but they are less than the ones that michigan corvette makes that are supposedly off the original tooling. I dont have a # for them but if you google the name I'm sure you can find it if not I can look it up on my end I'm sure I have it somewhere. Hope this helps, Jeff.

Welcome to the board.
First let me give you a helpful tip. Read the FAQ sticky. Many many topics are bookmarked.
Second...did you try the search function? This topic has been covered many times.
Wadded up? Kindly elucidate. Never heard the term.
very familar term in car and motorcycle racing - as in, I wadded my bike yesterday at that decreasing radius hairpin, etc.
Here is a common use of that term, from a SPEEDTV Article:
"UNHAPPY HOUR Ryan Newman wrecked his Penske Racing South Dodge Charger in practice and was forced to go to a backup car. He was 11th quickest in final practice with the backup. “We just wadded one [car] up. It just swapped ends and there was no hanging on,” Newman said."
and this from the good 'ol NASCAR boys:
"Kenseth recovered from the spin and was on the track for the last lap, but he tangled with David Stremme and wadded his car against the Turn 1 wall after the checkered flag."

Replacement Frame
Cannon's Corvettes advertises repaired frame and later frames converted to mid-year frames. They also advertise their frames have been repaired on a jig and guarantee them to be square. I think their prices start at $3,500. Cannon's Corvettes is located somewhere in the Carolinas. I don't have any personal experience with them so you would need to satisfy yourself they are people you would want to do business with. They too have a web-site so shop and compare.
I agree! If you are going with late-model suspension, and need a frame, you will be hard-pressed to do better then them. Mike builds a great chassis that is aready setup for the front and rear suspension of your choice. I have two of his frames, a C1 and a C2, and I am tickled with both of them. They are way stronger than a stock chassis, and corner like a go-cart.
If you have already committed yourself to late model suspension, then there are several aftermarket frames on the market. I went with a SRIII (above) and counting down to my delivery date.
Picked up my Dana44 and assorted parts from FedEx Tuesday and expecting 1900 pounds worth of parts by truck freight next week. The lady had to read that off twice to make sure it was right....
I had personal experience with the owner (who is dead) and the partner. Do your homework before doing business with this company. Check out what I found out on my restoration:

This is the contact info for the manufacturer of the steel or stainless frames Jeff is talking about.
