Default Holley ID Question

The Holley on my 350 has two relevent numbers stamped on it. One is stamped '4585B' - this is on the upper flat top on the throttle body.

The other number is on the front, left of the choke horn. This number is 'LIST-9834' and below that '1497'.

Could someone help me out on telling me what carb this is?

Thanks in advance.

Bud.

Default OK, I THINK I got that.

I looked at the Holley site but I didn't see that list! And it is sure more complete than the Mortec site. So thanks knight37128. Do you know why all numbers start with the letter 'R' on the Holley site? There is no 'R' on my carb. And What is up with the -1, -2, -3? Looks like it is just a different primary main jet. For different elevations?

The "R" never appears on the "LIST" stamping on the choke horn; the -1, -2, -3, etc. indicates the engineering change level of the carb. Generally it involves jetting, but can also include changes to the main body and/or metering blocks.

Default Well now I know!

Thanks for helping with the info. Sure makes this forum worth the money. OOPS I just checked, it's past my renewal time!

Cheers

Bud.
