kenmo, GREAT photos!!!! Luv your car. My 59 is in need of some SNAP and I'm thinking that wheels like yours are the way to go. What brand, size and type are they? Also, what size tires are you running?
American Racing Torque Thrusts II 15x7. Front tires are BFG TA 15x70x215 and rear are BFG TA 15x70x225... Backspacing is 3.75 inches. No scrapping problems but I need to fix the stance of the old girl. She has a slight lean to one side. Passenger side is slightly higher. This is even after replacing front coils, front shocks and having a maching shop add one more leaf to the rear driver side.
I was told by the spring shop the lean is caused by something in the suspension (sway bar or link bar) and the frame is straight.
Great shots. Am I the only one that doesn't like the look of permanent headlights in that mid-late 70's Vette?
You're not alone.. I never understood why people thought it was an improvement. Its only saving grace was elimination of A LOT of vacuum controls, but you could do that with lights hidden in the grill (but I'm not sure I care for those either).

From: Park City to SoCal - according to the map it's all down hill. No bad days in Indian Wells, California

Although I've seen one where there was a clear glass piece covering the recessed headlights and that looked kinda kewl.
