Where is the vin number stamped on a 1965 coupe ? Frame and body. Thanks, Cindi

The body VIN number is on a plaque that is on the "Z" bar directly under the glove box. For the VIN number on the frame it is on the drivers side just above the rear wheel on top of the frame. Several forum members have found this VIN using a wire brush and a mirror. Viet Nam Vet had some great pics of his frame VIN using this method. Do a search in the archives..... Good Luck....

Under the glove box on the cross member is the most obvious place to look. There are two tags there. 1st place to look.
