Gas Gauge Problem..Help
My recently purchased a 65 vette, shows the gas gauge sticking to half full (or half empty) and never moves. I filled it with gas the gas gauge remains half full. I ran out of gas twice and now I am a tad upset.
Does any one have an idea on how to diagnose the problem or where to start?

ON a 65 the gas gauge, temp gauge, backup lights, and parking brake light are all on the same circuit.
You may have a blown fuse. Does the Temp Gauge work? If so, then you likely have a bad fuel sender or a bad wire going to that sender.
