Engine Mount Questions(custom)
Im doing i guess a restomod on my 58, im fitting a tci front end with power steering and my intention was to use the factory engine mount, but ive discovered that its near impossible to mount my saginaw power steer pump using the factory mounting.
So i need to use convenional type mounts, can anyone help with pics of the custom mounts they have used, i can make them myself and weld them to the chassis , im just looking for some ideas about the best way to go.
Thanks Dean

good luck, i hope you have the patience of Job...
i installed the TCI IFS on my 62 and there is no way that you can use the original motor mount as the frame supports for that mount are located in the same place you will have to weld the upper spring tower.

fabricate and install them before you remove the old mount so that you will have the engine positioned correctly.

i actually modified the spring mounts to clear the mounts and cut the bottom off the mounts to clear the new crossmember , but now discovered they wont work with the power steer, looks like ive got some more work in front of me, so much for the fresh paint.
