Classic style, but not on America's favorite sports cars! For that, I would go with the American Racing Torq Thrust D (in the original "mag" finish - not the new chrome plated). If the guy you met was a vintage racer, actually, he would probably recognize the TT-D or 200S (both with "mag" finish) as the classic for vintage Corvettes as soon as he saw it. ("yeah, thats what I mean.")
I've seen a couple Vette's with Minilites on em. I wasn't too impressed.
One of the reasons they don't look right is that they were designed for 4 lug wheels (8 spokes).. they never looked right with a 5 lug center.
Guldstrand sold a 15x7.5 wheel with 5 mag finsh spokes for C-2 road racers (SCCA rule was stock rim width plus 1.5"). Anyone recall who's wheel that was?
