Power brake conversion for 1961
Looking for info on a power brake conversion kit, system, or a location where I can purchase or have it installed, on a 1961.

Re: Power brake conversion for 1961 (GT's58)
I am putting a brake booster on my 61. It is a hydraulically activated booster made by PBR in Australia, the model no is VH44. You connect the master cylinder to it and then it connects to the brakes. I have some friends who have these on older non-boosted drum brake cars and they work very well. You can mount it anywhere. I have posted a picture at www1.tpg.com.au/users/jdouyer/corvette/brakes.html

Re: Power brake conversion for 1961 (61STROKER)
MASTER POWER BRAKES has some conversion/power/disc kits for 53-62 Vettes. I've installed the front disc conversion on a 57 WITHOUT a power booster and it works fine.
