Just placed a small order with LICS, somewhere on the site it mentions that the engine HP can be interpreted by the letter designation on the sticker which is on the back of the cluster.
I've never heard of this before, anyone care to offer their opinion?
There is a sticker on the backside of the gauge cluster that has 2 letters on it. The 2 letters tell what the cluster represents such as 365hp 425 hp etc.

Are these two letters the same as the engine suffix?
no Brett, they are not. The same cluster for a 65 396 was used in the 65 L76, and these clusters (configured in identical fashion) would have the same broadcast code on them.
