C1 window glass replacement

'61 door glass replacement is a few hours
I had zero knowledge of C1's when I bought my '61 that had a cracked passenger window when I got it. I elected to buy replacement glass on line and do the work myself. Pretty straight forward replacement that took a few hours at most including my learning curve.
Don't know wha the pros and cons would be of buying glass locally, but I didn't want to risk getting the size wrong and chose the online-buy approach. I don't think that I got hosed on the purchase.

I went to the oldest local glass shop and asked about cutting the side glass. He had patterns for most old cars and the C1 was no problem. I don't recall the price, but it was pretty inexpensive. As I recall it installed with a two-sided tape. I had the doors completely apart at the time so it was easy to install.
