Does anyone have knowledge of a fellow who raced a 63 Split Window at the Pleasanton, Ca. county fairgrounds in or around 1975. The car was modified and black. I think a F.I. unit was added to the car. I am trying to locate the owner of that car. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

The guy you are thinking of may be Rudy Pretti, he had a black 63 SW with a red racing stripe, his son Manny races a 66 BB today. He is belived to be located in San Leandro. If you PM me I'll put you in touch with a NCCA member who ran with him in the seventies.

Wow, a 15 year old thread resurrected by the guy who owns the car in question. Pretty cool!

Wonder if @65 fi is still active here?

Thank You car was originally bought there and I found 3 of them painted them to kinda match the stripes. I may do another set stock. Only issue I had was I painted them both together and forgot back one was reverse blue, white ,red so I had to redo. But good eye catching that

Love the C3 looks perfect with those flares. I have a 68 convertible and a 77 with 57k coming. I've always like the C3s the best. Other car looks great too

The c2 is lot more comfortable and seems to have more interior space and you sit in a more upright position where the c3 is a tighter fit but both look killer .
