Need help with casting numbers?
When I purchased my car it came with a second motor that I will not need and it has the following casting numbers.
Block 3731548 I think is a 57' 283 0r 260 block. build date stamp is B 67? I dont have a casting book and would like to know the plant and I am assuming June 7th.
Manifold 3731398 is a 57' single barrel carb.
Heads are 3731539 57' 283 HP FI heads
Can anyone please check me on the numbers to make sure I have them right.
