Hey there, was out for breakfast this AM and I saw a sign at one of the local Inns saying Welcome Corvette, so I pulled in. The solid axle club was having one of their rendezvous and I met a few of the guys.
Spoke with Dick Barton and another gentlman whose name I didn't catch.
Great group, and some really fine cars!
These are great pictures!!! This appears to be a SACC (Solid Axle Corvette Club) Chapter meet. If you own a C1 or have an interest in them you should consider joining the SACC. There are now six chapters and if you don't have one in your area you might consider starting one. Our SoCal SACC chapter is in its 3rd year and we have 126 members and over 175 C1's. We generally have 35 driven cars at our meets and it's all about those large grinns!
Our Socal SACC General Meeting will be held in Glendale, CA on Oct. 20th and we will have Natl. SACC founder and past President Noland Adams will be our guest lunch speaker and hope to have 40 Driven C1's!!!

I wish I did have a C1 or C2. Someday hope to buy a fixer upper and have at it. That seems to be about the only way I'll ever do it now. I unerstand Noland has 6 1953 corvettes, is that correct?

No problem, Whenever I see one or more vettes I get a picture if I have the camera. I love the 57 and up and the 63-67 midyears. But the C5 just made more sense for me.
Heres a couple of local guys that I run into around here. There's a fellow around here that has 10 vettes, all c1 and c2s. Hes usually around on sunday morning. You never know what he'll be driving!
