Has anyone ever tried one of these? I wonder if they really do what they claim they do.
I saw one at a cruise nite here in N.J. it was on a 1955 Chev. Nomad with a 502 Cu. In. in it. It has been advertised on Horse Power TV , and it is now in this months Diesel Power Magazine [ D.P.M. claims it actually works.] Page 188 .
Forget that, get one of the 100mpg carbs that supposedly exist, but were bought out by the car companies to prevent it from getting on the market. I always loved that one, what the heck do the car companies care, they don't sell the gas !

Not hardly. John Fitch was a terrific driver and was in the forefront of many car and highway safety developments, but it pains me to see him put his name on that useless snake-oil crap; he's 90 now - maybe his 401(k) tanked.
Obviously doesn't work on C2 Corvettes as we are not listed under any of their categories. Might just as well snap one of these around your fuel line. At least that way, your fuel won't contaminate your radio signal.
FERRITE SNAP-BEAD - 0.52" I.D.
Fits cables up to 0.52" diameter. Suppress RFI, EMI and unwanted spurious signals. Self-locking plastic snap sleeve holds ferrite form in place.

Absolute 100% hogwash - all that device does is lighten your wallet; they're already under a consent decree with the Federal Trade Commission to cease and desist false and misleading advertising.

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
