Correct date code on Carb?

I looked in the NCRS manual for my 65', it says where the date code is....but it does not say the date range that would be acceptable. Does anyone know? For example, I have a Jan 65 car, what would be the acceptable dates codes for my car? Thanks!

I believe full credit is given for up to six months prior to your cars build date. Probably roughly one month prior would be realistic. Others who know better should confirm.
