engine compartment question
Anybody know the correct finish on a 65 brake booster and clutch z bar? Also I have a double (inner and outer) carb return spring on my L79,is that original?.......Thanks,Gary

Booster is cadmium dichromate plated. Clutch cross shaft is also cad plated As per 65 Judging Manual.

2 carb springs is not original, however it's much safer and an easy thing to change on the judging field. I run 2 springs on all of my older cars, and in the case of my 62 (the only old one I showed for accuracy) I simply removed the incorrect inner spring as part of my prep work on the show field
