63 electrical problem.

63 electrical problem.
Just got a call from a friend who just bought a barn fresh 63 coupe. Complete car, but needs the works. He's got it running but has no electrical items that work, except the blower fan and the parking brake light.
He has no lights, wipers, radio, nothing. I know this is a vague description of the problem, but that's all I know thus far. Any suggestions as to where he should begin ?? Thanks in advance. I'll try to report more as I find out.

A Test light and start tracing back through the circuits. My guess would be at the firewall where the forward light and engine harness connect through to the dash harness. I'd pull it apart and see if it's all corroded up and test for voltage.

Joe is speaking of the 2 plastic connectors located under the master cylinder.
I'd disconnect both and check inside for corrosion/rust before I did anything else.
Did he check the fuses?

Thanks guys ! I'll have him check those areas first. He's pretty handy and I'm sure he can handle it, but when we spoke on the phone earlier, he was just starting to troubleshoot.

If he's wise he'll replace all the wiring through the car. I bet he'd be awfully sad to lose it to an electrical fire.
