Default Assembly Time
A friend of mine that owns a 67 was asking me about how long it took the 67's to get through the assembly line compared to todays vettes. I was not sure how long it did take back in 67 to get a vette throught the assembly line. Anyone know.

20,000 cars per year, 2000 work hours per year per shift:

10 hours if one shift, 20 hours if two shifts (and I think it was 2 shifts. JohnZ??).

It took about 18 hours from the first station in the Body Shop to the Shipping Door; a little over 2-1/2 shifts at 7 jobs per hour.
