Ok. Now that my radiator is out, here is a question for you numbers guys, since the Black Book doesn't carry rad numbers.
The radiator is a copper core with brass 90¡ elbows. There is a number plate below the filler on the right side with the numbers "R666" and "3008567".
This is a curiousity question, since I am not into the numbers game. The radiator appears in pretty good condition with only a few "crushes". The car never overheats.
Thanks in advance. :yesnod:

According to the NCRS judging manual, the part number of a big block radiator is 3008567 for a manual trans car; it should be copper. The inlet elbow should be squared off 90 degree with a sharp edge. I do not know what R666 means.
I know this because I just bought one to replace a non correct radiator. I am into the numbers thing.
Allen is correct. There should be a date code on the same tag. It would look something like "66F" where 66=1966 and the F would be June. Not sure what the R666 would mean.
