C2 glove box lamp socket

Does anyone know of a good source for replacement glove box lamp sockets? I've ordered one from LI and one from Paragon - they were both from the same manufacturer and both broke when I installed them. The metal tabs on each side of the socket broke easily. I'd like to find one that is either NOS or a better repro.

I installed one from LIC with no problem. I would say that there is only one manufacturer for this. you might want to try and find an original, or maybe another GM car used the same one, and you could find one in an old junk yard

I just replaced all lighting parts in my 64 last week. Parts from Zip. Works fine.

I have one from GM still in the bag, it looks like it's a later replacement piece.

I take it back. Just noticed last night it wasn't sitting flush and went to adjust - clip fell off in my hands. Will be returning and looking for another supplier for it.

I do believe that the originals had "fingers" all the way around, not just 2 prongs.

Why are they breaking? Can't explain that.

I've popped a lot of them in and out without problems.
