Is anyone reproducing the tele column? Maybe one that looks correct. My car is not a NCRS car.
nope. if you want an aftermarket column that is a tilt then yes. I really never understood why you would need or want the steering wheel to come close to you on a mid year, as I feel cramped in there with a standard column. Maybe because I am 6’ 2”. the only reason I would want one because of the rarity of them. hope this helps
Flaming River in Berea, Ohio sells a tilt column for the midyear. You can buy them chrome or black.
But do they offer a tele wheel? Given my long legs, and the small amount of room I have to get out of the car when I park it in my garage, I've wondered if a tele wheel would give me more room to exit the vehicle in close quarters.
I remember finding one right after I bought my 67 almost 10 years ago for $1100. I thought the guy was crazy, one was for sale at Orlando last year for $3500 and it probably sold.

I'm 6'2", so that would be me.
When I shift gears my left knee gets stuck between the steering wheel and the door pull, so I'm no stranger to the tight angles in there.
I would think that a tilt from Flaming River would give you more room then the tele. They look very close to the org and you can use eighter a stock wheel or a smaller one.
As original owner of 63 swc, I found it necessary way back to put an angle wedge on the gas pedal to adjust for comfortable seating angle. (6ft 2 inch). This was done in 64. space between steering wheel and knees (too chest) still lousy. Think about it. Regards, Abe G
