I finally got started on my engine pull and rebuild project today (I needed to get in gear since Dave (youwish) called last night and wanted to know what the hold up was.) Im selling the bug to make some room.
Looking good so far. What did you decide to do with the motor rebuild? Have you figured out what cam? Any other changes?
Rob
Rob,
Im going to take it apart and do some measuring of things to see what direction I need to go. Dave said we could play around with his desktop dyno and see what we can come up with. I do know that I want to make it pump gas freindly. What cam and compression did you go with on your 67.

Jeff,
I am running the Comp Cams XE 284, and it's somewhere around 10:1. With the Brodix Alum heads though, she is pump friendly.
The Extreme Energy 284 is fairly radical, but I am not running power brakes. It may, or may not, have enough vacum pressure to run them.
