Big Block Purchase
I have a chance to purchase a 4 bolt 427, #3963512, E-13-70, and hi-perf heads, #3919840, A-12-68. The engine has very little mileage, with a fresh rebuild, balanced, without intake and carb. He doesn't know what it is worth, so he says.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Big Block Purchase (plaidside)
The Black Book lists this as a 1970 454 ci block (not 427) with 1968 427/435 heads...
Worth?? No idea founded in fact or experience, but keep this toward the top, and someone will give you an opinion. :yesnod:

Re: Big Block Purchase (plaidside)
For a stock-ish rebuilt big block my working range would be around $2500-3000. A "true" 427 is probalby more valuable than a 454.
