Default C3 guy here, could use some input

I've been collecting information for some time now about the various years (original engines available, paint codes, etc.) and last week I finally started putting it online.

www.corvettelink.com

I'm a C3 guy, so my C1/C2 knowledge is somewhat lacking. If anyone has a chance I'd like for some of the "experts", or just guys who know a lot about their own year(s) to check it out and let me know if I've made any mistakes or errors, I'm trying to get all of the data organized and accurate. And for anyone else, all thoughts and comments are appreciated. I'm also working on a VIN decoder on the site, and adding more content every day so it's coming along but with any luck I'll eventually have everything you've ever wanted to know about every year all in one place.

Thanks!

Only thing I saw was where 1985 was the first year for fuel injection to return...I think it should be 1982 with the cross fire injection.

Great site.
Great navigation features.
And you must have done a *heck* of a lot of research.

Thanks...

What about the 1983 Corvette. There were about 60 some produced but all but 1 was destroyed. It is in the NCM. Just asking.

Thanks, it's getting there.

I'm also considering building a portable application version for Windows Mobile or Smartphones. There are a couple of times I've been at a show and saw a car for sale where it would have been neat to just whip out the PDA or cell phone, punch in the VIN, and have all of the information about the car's history right there. I don't know if there would be any interest in that or not though.

1. Under 1960 engines, all are shown as 230hp - should be 230, 245 and 270hp.

2. There are duplicate entries for "427 V-8"; the first one should be removed, as it doesn't include '66 & '67 usages (the second entry does, but it's missing the '67 430hp L-88).

3. In "'67", the L-88 is missing from the engine lineup.

4. In "'56" (and 265 V-8), it should show three horsepower ratings - 210 (base), 225 (2x4), and 240 (hi-lift cam).

Nice effort!

Just looked at 62. Says 99 first year of return of trunk. Should be 98 convertible.
Also says grille blackened, which is ok, but late versions also had gold.
