Default Suffix Code?

I have located a 66 Chevelle SS396 with a NOM big block that I can't identify. The casting is 3999290 which Mortec says is a 68-72 396 or 402. It is either a truck or pass motor. The stamped numbers on the front of the block are T0401CTB. I can't find the "CTB" listed anywhere. I don't have the block casting date yet. All my reference material is for pass cars, is this a truck motor? Thanks!
