1959 Undercoating
I am currently restoring a '59 power window/power top car. The car was parked in 1972 and hasn't seen daylight until I started on it. The car has undercoating over the entire underneath. The original owner says he can't recall getting it undercoated. I know the factory sprayed behind the wheels, but, could they do the whole car? Should I leave it on or remove it? What's everyone's opinion?

Use Heat Gun the Kerosene
(that should be "then" kerosene). The heat gun and a wood or plastic scraper will take off most of it.
For the residue, spray on kerosene and watch it do its magic.
