Default Plug Wire Issues?
I have a '65 BB car that I am rebuilding and just purchased a set of original style braided plug wires. Can the grounding of these wires or lack of properly grounding these wires affect performance, or are these just for the purpose of radio interference? Thanks!

radio interference only, no impact on the engine

On a '65 (or a '66), the "flags" on the plug end of the shielding clip onto the cylindrical steel shield around each spark plug.
