Ground Straps
I've got a suspect ground issue somewhere in my 64 coupe.
Can someone tell me where the ground straps are located. I've looked at the AIM and Chilton but couldn't find any reference. I've got a kit from Dr. Rebuild and I can find one at the front, underside of sill at the drivers side door. I've also got the remnants of one on the throtle linkage????? Is that right? Where else?

ground straps
#1 I have one on the drivers side [left side] motor mount. Between the engine and frame.
#2 I have one on each side of the exhaust pipes , below the trans. mount [ Between the clamp and frame.]
#3 I have one below the door sill, drivers side [ left side,
leading edge of the door.]
#4 ground strap for the radio antenna. [solid copper strap] located at the antenna.
#5 ground strap for the carb. linkage. Between the intake mani. and the sheet metal stamped piece for the throttle linkage.

That sounds right, I remember the ones mentioned.
63's have extra ones on the rear muffler clamps. Not sure about 64.
On the motor mount, some have it on the LEFT, some on the RIGHT.
63's occasionally have both.
I'd still check the AIM.
