I am getting ready to remove the coupler from the steering shaft /box of my 1963 Corvette. I was wondering what was the easiest way to remove and also reinstall the coupler (when fixed)..
I never replaced coupler before and I dont want to "Screw it up"...
Any advice is always appreciated from my forum brothers!

From: going faster miles an hour...with the radio on in browns mills new jersey
1. Unbolt the coupler halves.
2. Loosen the "special" bolt and slide the upper half up the steering shaft.
3. Remove the "special" bolt and slide the lower half up and off the shaft on the steering box. Remove it.
4. Slide the upper half down and off the steering shaft. Remove it.
Reverse procedure to install.
