Using original spark plus
Having to drive an old Corvette , I also use the original spark plugs , I keep them clean by cleaning them the old way. As long as the ends ant warn down they keep going like the bunny-wabit . Been using them for over 50,000 miles and still look good.
OK may be I'm cheap but like using original parts.
Any of you old farts remember this.

Yeh, in the 60's I worked in a "service" station and we have a plug cleaner powered by compressed air and fine grain sand. Worked like a charm.

Late 50's cleaned a lot that way at "service station"

But you had to be sure to get all of the sand out of the plug. I wonder how many mechanics helped their business by not cleaning out the sand? Use to be that used car salesman, TV repair guys, and auto mechanics were thought to be "lower than whale chit". Now it is just the used car salesman!
Nothing like shortening the life of your engine by putting sand (from the spark plug cleaner) in the engine!
