My '65 has backup lights. Installed ALL new wiring last fall but never hooked them up as I did not have 4 speed reverse switch/harness. The backup wiring is part of the switch. I’m presently installing Tremec and need PLUG & WIRES (mainly the plug). Does anyone know where I can get or have and old one they will part with??
I think the male plug connector you need can be cut off from an old harness. You could always make up a connection using spade clips and shrink tubing. Jerry
When I installed my Tremec four years ago I had the same issue. I simply got to bullet female connectors for the tremec connection and two male spade connectors for the wiring harness end. I then cut two 16 gauge wires and taped them together with the proper connectors on each end. It has work well for the last four years. Dave
George: I had the same issue when I installed my Keisler TKO-600 last year. I called Classic Motor Sports Group and they have a ready made harness (No. 6 on their parts list). If I remember correctly is was around $30.00. It worked perfectly.
