Default Harmonic balancer size
What is the correct size balancer for a 68 427/390?
I know I'm on the C2 side but you guys give Quicker responses.
Is it 1 3/4 x 8?

All hydraulic-lifter big-blocks used the 7" balancer.

I know I asked about a 68, but is that true for 67 also?
Because the judging manual on pg. 114 says BB balancers
were 8" x 1 3/4.

My 427/425 had an 8" on it. Any other hydraulic I've seen only had a 7" on it.

The motor I rebuilt is out of a 68, but going
into a 67 that is why I'm asking. I want it to look
correct.
